YSI instruments, software, and data collection platforms are mainly focused on environmental monitoring and testing. We develop, manufacture and integrate instrumentation and systems for measuring and monitoring water quality, level, and flow. This covers the spectrum of outdoor water applications such as oceans, coasts, estuaries, groundwater, surface water, and aquaculture.

When our customers are out in the field or in their laboratories, they often refer to our products as "my YSI." It's a simple statement of ownership and to us it signifies the important relationship we have built with our customers.
