The JOFRA ATC series combines the accuracy of a laboratory calibrator
with the speed and portability of a dry-block calibrator. The series
features the new dual-zone heating/cooling block to ensure the thermal
performance in the calibration zone independent of the load.
- All units with dual-zone heating block
- New super-cooling model (ATC-157)
- Universal input for sensor-under-test
- Input for external reference probe
- Automatic switch test
- RS 232 and AmeCal calibration software
- Multi information display + numeric keyboard
- Autostepping
- Stability indicator
- Count-down timer (shows when unit is stable)
- Automatic, stand-alone calibration system
- Up- and download of work orders (calibrations)
- MVI Mains Variance Immunity

State-of-the-art
well design - Optimized for accuracy
The ATC series employs the newest technology in dry-block design. The
active dual-zone design ensures excellent temperature homogeneity in the
calibration zone of the block independent of the load
(sensor-under-test). The insert is so big that there is room for both
the sensor-under-test and the external reference probe.

External
reference input
All 'B' models feature a four-wire true-ohm-measurement RTD input
for an external reference temperature probe. The new JOFRA STS-100
series of reference probes contains an angled probe. This probe leaves
room for the connection head of the sensor-under-test.
Sensor-under-test input
All 'B' models also feature a universal input for electrical
connection of the sensor-under-test. RTD, TC, TX, thermo switch, and V.
Convert the input to temperature and read the results in the big LCD
display. |

Switch test
- Save time using the fully automatic test of thermo switches. The
calibrator will find the closing and the opening temperatures and
calculate the hysteresis. This leaves you free to concentrate on other
things while the test is running.

 |
 |
 |
| |
|
|
| |
|
|

|
|
Auto step
- The calibrator will automatically change to the next programmed value.
This allows the calibrator to be placed anywhere in the process while
you monitor the output from the sensor-under-test in the control room. |

|
|
Automatic
stand-alone calibration - Download your calibration tasks (work
orders) to the ATC calibrator and run the test in the field. Return to
your base and upload the calibration results including both as-found and
as-left results. |

MVI
circuitry - The MVI technology removes the stability problem caused
by an unstable mains supply. This is very often a problem in production
environments with large electric motors, heating elements, etc. cycling
on and off. The MVI gives correct and safe calibrations.

the calibrator is stable.

calibrator. |

Simplified
calibration documentation - All ATC series calibrators are delivered
with an RS-232 serial interface and the AMECAL-TEMPERATURE software.
This WINDOWS®-based software allows the user to customize calibration
routines. Download these routines and upload the calibration results for
storing or print-out of calibration certificates.

JOFRA
ATC-156 - Offers calibration of short 'Clamp' sensors
JOFRA offers a complete, highly accurate, and portable
calibration-solution. The kit is designed around an ATC-156 dry-block
calibrator which features the dual-zone technology. Customized inserts
and a reference sensor have been developed specifically for this
application. Avoid cumbersome and lengthy liquid bath calibrations and
the performance issues associated with older dry-block calibrators. |
