PPC - Precision Pressure Calibrator
PPC and PPCE series are portable, self-contained
precision instruments designed for critical process
applications where accuracy, flexibility, and quality
cannot be compromised.
- Easy-to-read 16-character LCD display that indicates
pressure, mA, or
voltage signals and percent of full scale
simultaneously.
- Store peak values (upper and lower).
- Single button zeroing.
- Shutoff feature that extends battery life.
- Available in 10 different pressure ranges from
-0.85 bar (25 inHg vacuum)
to 700 bar (10,000 psi).
- Instant conversion of pressure readings to common
units of measure, e.g.
bar, kPa, mPa, Atm, kgf/cm2, cmH2O, mmHg, psi, inH2O,
inHg, ftH2O.
- Input for voltage (0-30 V).
- input for mA (4-20 mA or 10-50 mA).
- Pressure switch test indicates opening or
closing point.
- PPC accuracy of ±0.05% of full scale.
- PPCE accuracy of ±0.04% of reading + 0.01% of
full scale.

PPC
and PPCE complete systems
The PPC/PPCE systems are delivered ready to use in a
rugged carrying case. All systems includes: carrying
case, pump, hose, connections, battery, test leads, and
traceable certificate.

Temperature
compensation
All pressure sensors are sensitive to temperature
changes. Often the error caused by the temperature effect
is greater than the stated accuracy of the pressure
sensor. The objective is to create very good temperature
compensation, particularly for units used in environments
with variable temperatures, such as on-site. The PPC/PPCE
models have individual temperature compensation. The
characterization is made in a special chamber at 3
different temperatures and 5 different pressures for each
temperature. This gives the user a correct calibration
result, especially for on-site applications. |

|
The
"freeze display" function
A special 'Freeze display' feature on the PPC and PPCE
greatly simplifies analog gauge calibration. Simply
'freeze the display' by pressing the HOLD key when the
manometer is exactly at the desired calibration point and
record the 'true' pressure. In the 'pressure switch test
mode' the instrument will automatically 'hold' and display
the open or closed values. |

PPC/PPCE
system VP and system 1
This 'ready-to-use' calibration system comes with
either the combined vacuum and pressure pump (system VP)
or with an AMETEK model T-750 pneumatic vacuum pump or
T-730 or T-740 pressure pumps depending on the operating
ranges required. Systems are available for vacuum to 2, 7
or 15 bar (30, 102 or 218 psi). All systems have built-in
fine adjustment, vent valve, and separate output for the
test object. |

PPC/PPCE
system 2 and system 3
The system 2 calibration system features an AMETEK
model T-620 hydraulic hand pump for single-handed
operation. Pump uses AAA tester oil. Includes vernier
adjustment. Ranges for 15, 35, 70, 140 and 200 bar (218,
508, 1,015, 2,031 and 2,901 psi). The system 3 features a
traditional screw pump that uses AAA tester oil. SKYDROL
and water are also available as an option. Ranges are
identical to the system 2. The system 3 may be fitted with
a number of options including vernier valve, 1 and 2 meter
(3 and 6 ft) hose sets, quick connector set, extension
tube and reservoir. |

The system 4 is supplied with a hydraulic pump with
built-in reservoir for liquids and higher volume for
priming the system. System media may be oil. Ranges
are 70, 140, 200, 350 and 700 bar (1,015, 2,031, 2,901,
5,076 and 10,152 psi). Includes vernier adjustment and
separate output for test object. Options include quick
connector set, steel extension tube and hose set. |

hydraulic pump with built-in reservoir for liquids and
higher volume for priming the system. System media may be water
or oil. Ranges are 70, 140, 200, 350 and 700 bar

vernier adjustment and separate output for test object.
Options include quick connector set, steel extension tube
and hose set. |
