TEMPERATURE
CALIBRATION SOFTWARE
AMECAL-TEMPERATURE & AMECAL-LIGHT |
| An easy way
to run and document your temperature calibrations |
| |

|
 |

Simplify
and improve the efficiency of your temperature
calibrations using AMECAL-TEMPERATURE or AMECAL-LIGHT
software. This WINDOWS®-based software makes use of
standard WINDOWS tools including menu bars and icons and
can be used with all JOFRA dry-block calibrators.
AMECAL-TEMPERATURE software provides you with an easy
method for calibrating, write out calibration
certificates, data logging, and managing your calibration
data.
AMECAL-LIGHT software have all the same features but can
not store your results. |

|
| |
|
|
| The
key to an easy setup of a calibration task is the unique
"Icon bar". The "Icon bar" tells you
where you currently are in the calibration process,
starting with selection of the sensor to be calibrated and
ending by performing the calibration. The AMECAL software
will improve the accuracy of your calibrations. Select the
right calibration "scenario" and the software
will communicate with both the heating source and the
JOFRA DTI-1000 reference thermometer at the same time. All
"true temperature readings" will be taken from
the more accurate JOFRA DTI-1000 thermometer! |

AMECAL
software supports all JOFRA dry-block calibrators with
RS-232 interface, the JOFRA DTI-1000 reference
thermometer, and the use of liquid bath, ice point or
other dry-block heat sources. With the
"Scenario" function instruments can be combined
in almost any desired configuration. You simply select the
desired method of performing your calibrations and the
software will show your scenario and take care of the
rest. Calibration procedures and results are stored in a
built-in identification/ Tag No. database (Not AMECAL-LIGHT).
Common procedures are easily found and results are
presented in a true certificate format complying with
quality standards such as ISO 9000, BMP, HACCP, and the
like. You may print an alternative certificate in whatever
language you prefer. A graphic presentation mode gives you
a clear view of the calibration while in progress. Both
axes have on-line auto scaling during the calibration
session. This feature gives you a complete
"calibration picture" at any time. |

Manual
temperature calibration
You are not limited only to use equipment with an RS-232
communication port. The AMECAL software can be set up to
accept manual entries of calibration data. You can
also do an on-site calibration with your manual
calibrators and key in the data when you are back in the
workshop. Just select manual reading when in the scenario.
This feature gives you the same look and storage of all
your temperature calibrations. |

Fully
automatic temperature calibration
To show the flexibility, this scenario uses the DTI-1000
as an external reference and the ATC input for the sensor-
under-test. The calibration is performed on-line. |
