Advanced patent pending design accurately measures DC and AC currents from 0 to 2000 mA. Simply clamp the retractable probe on the conductor being measured without breaking the circuit. Easy-to-read 31/2 digit LCD. An analog output is provided for connection to an oscilloscope. Comes complete with batteries, optional battery eliminator, hard carrying case and instructions.

Description

The F.W. Bell Y8100 is an exact replacement for the Fluke Model Y8100 clamp-on current probe.  It can be used with a digital multimeter or oscilloscope to measure dc, ac or composite (ac/dc) currents.  The ergonomic pistol shape sets the standard for hand-held comfort. Two ranges, 20 A and 200 A, produce a 2 V output at full current range.  An indicator light turns on when the battery voltage is too low for proper operation.
