Portable pH MeterspH Meters
Over the past two decades, the measurement and use of pH has grown dramatically. This parameter has come out of the laboratory and is now being monitored in areas such as the environment, food, agriculture, horticulture, waste water, pharmaceutical, cosmetic industry, fish farming, metal finishing, education and anywhere quality is important. This enlargement of the use of pH has meant that every application with its own operating environment and tolerances requires specially designed products suitable to its needs. In addition, each market brings with it people with different backgrounds and technical training. Due to these market realities, Hanna has developed a complete range of meters, each catering to the specific needs of particular market segments. As a result, Hanna pH meters represent the most comprehensive range of portable and bench-top instrumentation on the market and provide the users with the most expansive choice possible.
CE Compliance with the CE directives ensures the best reliability and accuracy of all meters manufactured by Hanna Instruments. ISO ISO 9000 standards cover different phases of the manufacturing process and are divided into three categories:
GLP All models display graphic symbols and messages on the LCD to guide you through the calibration procedure. Calibration is automatic with programmed buffers, and an electrode stability indicator tells you when the reading is stable. Last calibration data, including date, time, offset and slope are memorized after each pH and ION concentration calibration. The data can be displayed or printed at any time at the touch of a button. With these features, these meters help you maintain your high quality of work at all times and meet Good Laboratory Practice requirements.
pH 300 is the basic model of the new 300 series and it is manufactured according to CSA, UL and CE standards. It features simplicity of use together with state-of-the-art engineering to measure pH, mV, ORP and temperature. Graphic symbols and messages appear on the LCD to guide the user step-by-step through the calibration procedure, which can be performed at 1 or 2 points by choosing from 3 memorized buffers (pH 4.01, 7.01 and 10.01). A "CFM" message blinks on the LCD until stability is reached, and only then can calibration be performed. This guarantees that only optimal calibrations are carried out. The calibration date (month, day and year) and data (offset and slope values) are stored into non-volatile memory, and can be easily recalled by the operator. Erroneous and inaccurate measurements due to a non-calibrated system can be avoided with the pH 300 last calibration data recall function, which warns the user in the case of an overdue calibration. With these features pH 300 meets the requirements of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). Your work can be transferred into a computer via the opto isolated RS 232 communication port and with the aid of HI 92000, Hanna's user friendly Windows® compatible software. pH 300 is supplied ready-to-use, complete with glass body combination pH electrode, 12 VDC adapter, pH 4.01 and 7.01 calibration solutions (30mL each) and instruction manual. pH 300-KIT in addition to the pH 300 basic accessories, the kit version includes a cantilever electrode holder, combination platinum ORP electrode, temperature probe, Windows® compatible application software, PC connection cable, storage, cleaning and electrolyte solutions (30mL each) and a refilling pipette. HI 9210N The increasing need for instant results on the production floor, without waiting for lab tests, and to minimize downtime, has become a necessity. On-site measurements in production and in agriculture, can subject the instrumentation to harsh conditions. The cold, humidity and dust associated with use in production, can damage a meter, rapidly deteriorating its performance and life. HI 9210N heavy-duty pH meter is designed to provide laboratory results and accuracy under harsh industrial conditions. Once the calibration is performed by authorized personnel, the trimmers are sealed behind a protective cover. This assures that the calibration cannot be tampered with. By incorporating only two buttons on the front panel, operation of this meter is simple, even for non-technical personnel. One button toggles the meter ON and OFF, and the other switches between the pH mode and the manual temperature set mode. The HI 9210N's battery life is approximately 1200 hours. HI 9024 & HI 9025 are microprocessor-based pH meters in waterproof casings. HI 9024 measures pH & °C, and HI 9025 can also measure ion concentration and ORP in the mV range. Both meters are housed in rugged, waterproof, ABS casings that are built to last. The Auto-Instruction feature guides the user step-by-step through the calibration process with graphic symbols and 5 memorized, standard buffer values (pH 4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18 and 10.01). Because the electrode requires a certain amount of time to stabilize between buffers, the meter will display the READY symbol only when the electrode has stabilized. Unlike conventional meters that only allow the calibration at 7.01pH, the powerful software of the HI 9024/9025 allows the user to start the calibration process using any of the 5 memorized buffers. It is also possible to calibrate the slope (second point of calibration) using any of the remaining buffers (example: 1st point of calibration = pH 4.01; 2nd point = pH 9.18).
