PICCOLO The creation of PICCOLO by Hanna, is a response to today's industry. Piccolo is a revolutionary all-in-one pH meter with an "Electrode + Amplifier" design. The problem with conventional pH meters is the high impedance signal which makes the electrode, connector, cable and meter delicate and susceptible to noise, humidity and dirty environments. PICCOLO overcomes these problems with an interchangeable preamplified pH electrode that transmits a low impedance signal to the meter. Dual point calibration is performed simply through trimmers on the meter's casing. PICCOLO comes complete with an all-in-one electrode, a carrying case containing pH 4 and 7 buffer solution and a small calibration screwdriver.

Over the past two decades, the measurement and use of pH has grown dramatically. This parameter has come out of the laboratory and is now being monitored in areas such as the environment, food, agriculture, horticulture, waste water, pharmaceutical, cosmetic industry, fish farming, metal finishing, education and anywhere quality is important. This enlargement of the use of pH has meant that every application with its own operating environment and tolerances requires specially designed products suitable to its needs. In addition, each market brings with it people with different backgrounds and technical training. Due to these market realities, Hanna has developed a complete range of meters, each catering to the specific needs of particular market segments. As a result, Hanna pH meters represent the most comprehensive range of portable and bench-top instrumentation on the market and provide the users with the most expansive choice possible.

pH 300 is the basic model of the new 300 series and it is manufactured according to CSA, UL and CE standards. It features simplicity of use together with state-of-the-art engineering to measure pH, mV, ORP and temperature. Graphic symbols and messages appear on the LCD to guide the user step-by-step through the calibration procedure, which can be performed at 1 or 2 points by choosing from 3 memorized buffers (pH 4.01, 7.01 and 10.01). A "CFM" message blinks on the LCD until stability is reached, and only then can calibration be performed. This guarantees that only optimal calibrations are carried out. The calibration date (month, day and year) and data (offset and slope values) are stored into non-volatile memory, and can be easily recalled by the operator. Erroneous and inaccurate measurements due to a non-calibrated system can be avoided with the pH 300 last calibration data recall function, which warns the user in the case of an overdue calibration. With these features pH 300 meets the requirements of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). Your work can be transferred into a computer via the opto isolated RS 232 communication port and with the aid of HI 92000, Hanna's user friendly Windows® compatible software.

pH 300 is supplied ready-to-use, complete with glass body combination pH electrode, 12 VDC adapter, pH 4.01 and 7.01 calibration solutions (30mL each) and instruction manual.

pH 300-KIT in addition to the pH 300 basic accessories, the kit version includes a cantilever electrode holder, combination platinum ORP electrode, temperature probe, Windows® compatible application software, PC connection cable, storage, cleaning and electrolyte solutions (30mL each) and a refilling pipette.

HI 9210N The increasing need for instant results on the production floor, without waiting for lab tests, and to minimize downtime, has become a necessity. On-site measurements in production and in agriculture, can subject the instrumentation to harsh conditions. The cold, humidity and dust associated with use in production, can damage a meter, rapidly deteriorating its performance and life. HI 9210N heavy-duty pH meter is designed to provide laboratory results and accuracy under harsh industrial conditions. Once the calibration is performed by authorized personnel, the trimmers are sealed behind a protective cover. This assures that the calibration cannot be tampered with. By incorporating only two buttons on the front panel, operation of this meter is simple, even for non-technical personnel. One button toggles the meter ON and OFF, and the other switches between the pH mode and the manual temperature set mode. The HI 9210N's battery life is approximately 1200 hours. The BEPS (Battery Error Prevention System) feature prevents the meter from taking false readings by shutting the meter off when the power is too low. In addition, a "V" appears on the screen to alert the user that there is only 20 hours of battery life left. HI 9210N is supplied complete in a soft carrying case with an HI 1217D pH electrode and a small calibration screwdriver.

HI 9024 & HI 9025 are microprocessor-based pH meters in waterproof casings. HI 9024 measures pH & °C, and HI 9025 can also measure ion concentration and ORP in the mV range. Both meters are housed in rugged, waterproof, ABS casings that are built to last. The Auto-Instruction feature guides the user step-by-step through the calibration process with graphic symbols and 5 memorized, standard buffer values (pH 4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18 and 10.01). Because the electrode requires a certain amount of time to stabilize between buffers, the meter will display the READY symbol only when the electrode has stabilized. Unlike conventional meters that only allow the calibration at 7.01pH, the powerful software of the HI 9024/9025 allows the user to start the calibration process using any of the 5 memorized buffers. It is also possible to calibrate the slope (second point of calibration) using any of the remaining buffers (example: 1st point of calibration = pH 4.01; 2nd point = pH 9.18). Both meters can calibrate with one buffer if 1 point calibration is desired. HI 9024/HI 9025 are supplied complete in a rugged carrying case containing an HI 1230B plastic, double-junction, combination, gel, pH electrode, an HI 7669/2W temperature probe, and pH 4 & 7 buffers.

HI 931401 With a pH resolution selectable between 0.001 and 0.01 pH, and mV resolution of 0.1 mV from -999.9 to +999.9 mV, the top-of-the-line HI 931401 is designed for those operators who need optimum accuracy. The pH/mV readings are displayed together with temperature on a large dual level display. The pH measurements are automatically adjusted for the temperature effect. Calibration is simple with the memorized buffers comprising both the Standard 4.01, 7.01 and 10.01 as well as the NBS (NIST) 6.86 and 9.18 solutions. The display gives step-by-step prompts for the first and second buffers and provides error messages if the wrong solution is used. Since the electrode requires a certain amount of time to stabilize between buffers, the meter will not display the READY symbol until the electrode has stabilized. With the READY feature, you are assured of your calibration being correct which means all your subsequent measurements are accurate too. HI 931401 is supplied complete with a starter kit including the HI 1131B glass-body, refillable combination pH electrode, HI 7669/2 stainless steel temperature probe, HI 76405 electrode holder, pH4, pH7 and electrolyte solutions and a dust cover. Upon request, version HI 931401NLP is also available with power socket 12 VDC supply (CSA & UL approved).

pH 301 includes all the basic features offered by pH 300. In addition, the resolution of the pH range has been extended to 0.001 pH and, for routine operations, the operator can also choose to use the 0.01 pH resolution. The pH calibration can be performed at 1, 2 or 3 points with 6 memorized pH values (pH 1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18 and 10.01). In the ISE mode, the user can choose between readings in mV or direct concentration in ppm. Calibration can be performed at 1 or 2 points with 5 memorized concentration values (0.1, 1, 10, 100 and 1000 ppm). During pH and ISE calibration the time (hours and minutes) is stored in the non volatile memory together with the date and data. Similar to the pH mode, the ISE calibration time, date and data can be recalled, to meet GLP requirements. The opto-isolated RS 232 is bidirectional, which means that the user can operate the meter from the computer keyboard. The pH 301 logging function can be used in the pH, mV and ISE modes. The logging interval is user selectable (1, 15 or 30 seconds and 1, 5, 30, 60, 120 and 180 minutes). The memory is capable of retaining up to 99 different lots, each containing a maximum of 8,000 samples.

pH 301 is supplied ready-to-use, complete with glass body combination pH electrode, 12 VDC adapter, pH 4.01 and 7.01 calibration solutions (30mL each) and instruction manual.

pH 301-KIT in addition to the pH 301 basic accessories, the kit version includes a cantilever electrode holder, combination platinum ORP electrode, temperature probe, Windows® compatible application software, PC connection cable, storage, cleaning and electrolyte solutions (30mL each) and a refilling pipette.
