STROBE ORDERING INFORMATION (prices
and specifications subject to without notice).
The
Nova-Strobe series represents the latest in portable stroboscope technology. Both the DA Plus and DB Plus offer powerful
features for both diagnostic inspection and speed measurements. Lightweight and bright
with flash rates to 14,000 flashes per minute, these rugged strobes are comfortable to
hold and easy to operate.
The DB Plus
battery operated stroboscope weighs only 2.5 lbs. (1.2kgs) and will run continuously for 1
hour* on a single charge. A fast charger is included and the percentage charge remaining
may be displayed. The unit is CE certified.
The DA Plus AC
powered stroboscope (115 or 230 Vac) is designed for continuous cool operation, and weighs
only 1.5 lbs. (0.72 kg). CE certification is pending.
Flash rates from 30 to 14,000 flashes per
minute, adjustable in 0.1 step increments, the coarse/fine adjustment knob makes it quick
and easy to set the exact flash rate you want. The all digital controlled microprocessor
keeps readings rock steady.
DB Plus Kit, shown right, includes carry
case and spare lamp
Internal phase shifting allows the target to
be jogged clockwise or counter clockwise in 5° increments.
Times 2 and divide by 2 push buttons allow
easy checking for actual RPM, harmonics and allow stop motion far beyond the 14,000 fpm
limit.
Store and recall up to 6 user selectable
values. Last measurement memory, even with the power off.
Flash rate may be displayed in Flashes per
Minute (RPM) or Flashes per Second (Hz)
Individual input and output TTL jacks (1/8
inch phone) provides power to remotes sensors and allows "daisy-chaining" of
multiple strobes. A Tachometer mode allows accurate speed measurement up to 200,000
RPM using external sensors.
The Phaser-Strobe incorporate the unique design features of the
Nova-Strobe Family and has an increased operating range of 30 to 32,500 flashes per
minute, the highest available. It also has trueexternal Phase
Shifting throughout the complete operating range, based on a reference signal
from an external sensor. The Phaser-Strobe can multiply or divide the flash rate by two
with the press of a button, quickly identifying the basic speed and harmonics. The unique
digital adjustment knob of Phaser-Strobe can select the decade for adjustments, so coarse
and fine adjustments of flash rates are made quickly and with significantly better
resolution than competitive units. The memory feature of the Phaser-Strobe allows three
frequencies to be stored in memory, accelerating measurements that require the use of
several different flash rates which can be displayed in both flashes per minute or flashes
per second. Phaser-Strobes operate with internal rechargeable batteries. They may also be
used with an external battery pack or operated continuously from line power with the
available Power Supply/Battery Charger.
Flash rates from 30 to 32,500 flashes per
minute, adjustable in 0.05 step increments,to 3000 fpm and 0.5 step increments to 32,500.
The all digital, crystal controlled microprocessor keeps readings rock steady.
PB 115 Kit (shown right) includes carry
case and spare lamp
Times 2 and divide by 2 push buttons allow
easy checking for RPM harmonics and allow stop motion far beyond the 32,500 fpm
limit.
Store and recall up to 3 user selectable
values. Last measurement memeory, even with the power off.
Individual in and output TTL jacks for
provides power to remotes sensors and allows "daisychaining" multiple strobes.
A Tachometer mode allows accurate speed measurement up to 200,000 RPM using external
sensors.
Dual-function delays in external mode. Delays adjustable as phase
angle or time with resolution to 0.1 degree and 0.0001 seconds.
Auto step mode provides slow motion appearance for high speed
repetitive event.
Backlit alphanumeric LCD display shows flash rate in flashes per
second or flashes per minute and delays in degrees or milliseconds.
The Nova-Strobe series represents the latest
in portable stroboscope technology. Both the AA and AB are simple to
operate, just point and shoot. Lightweight and bright with flash rates to 8,000 flashes
per minute these strobes are comfortable to hold and will operate continuously with no
danger of overheating.
The AB battery
operated stroboscope weighs only 2.5 lbs. (1.2kg) and will run continuously for 1 hour on
a single charge. A slow charger is included.
The AA stroboscope is AC
mains powered (115 or 230 Vac) and weighs only 1.5 lbs. (0.72 kg).
A large easy to read drum with clear
numeric markings makes it easy to adjust and read the flash rate.

The Vibration-Strobe
Kit incorporates the unique design features of the Nova-Strobe DB Family and has
an operating range of 100 to 12,000 flashes per minute. It also has trueexternal
Phase Shifting throughout the complete operating range. The Vibration-Strobe
operates with internal rechargeable batteries. This unit has a unique
"tracking filter" ideal for vibration analysis. It has proven compatibility with
numerous vibration data collectors. The
Vibration-Strobe will accept the input from
your data collector and provide a TTL output to the external input of your data collector.
This will provide a strobe-firing from the accelerometer. If you require slow-motion
studies, balancing, relative phase analysis or synchronous time averaging, this strobe is
ideally suited for your application.
