DESCRIPTION

Specifically designed for power quality monitoring applications that demand high measurement accuracy and flexible communication, the ACE 4000 represents a two-generation leap in the design of power quality analyzers.

RIS has reinvented power measurement by fully integrating an industrial-grade Pentium PC, high-speed DSP power quality analyzer, and Windows PowerACE software, all packaged within a rugged lightweight enclosure. The ACE 4000 incorporates touch screen technology combined with state-of-the-art high-speed processors to acquire and process all data cycle-by-cycle, making more than 8000 measurements each cycle. Absolutely no gap in recording ever occurs in the performance of independent functions. Fully multitasking and multi-user, the ACE 4000 runs on new PowerACE for Windows software, compatible with 95, 98, and NT. Measurement surveys can be performed with ease whether you're a novice or professional by selecting either fully automatic or customizable setup options. All AC and DC measurements can be made without any programming required. Supplied with four voltage and four current inputs; recording triggers can be specified for any measurement parameter along with multiple recording rates. The ACE 4000 can be operated as a portable standalone unit or used remotely with built-in Ethernet, Internet, 56 KBps modem, IR, RF, serial, or parallel ports.

All power quality measurements, including transients, harmonics to the 63rd, sags, and swells as well as every power flow parameter and flicker measurement, are simultaneously recorded onto the instrument's high-capacity hard drive with true cycle-by-cycle measurement and a minimum of 256 samples per cycle on every channel, with an operating frequency range from DC to 400 Hz. All recorded data, samples, phasors, waveforms, harmonic spectra, and measurement text can be displayed in real-time with readout of cursor-selected waveform amplitude/time values. Once a measurement survey has been completed, the ACE 4000's Automatic Report Wizard will allow you to create a customized power-quality report for your client's review and analysis. Simple, elegant, and powerful, the ACE 4000 is the state-of-the-art in power monitoring today.
