A capture hood (flow measuring hood) is an instrument used to measure volumetric air flows from supply or exhaust diffusers and grilles. Capture hoods make fast, repeatable measurements. Accessories for Electronic Balometer
The Electronic Balometer Capture Hood uses thermal anemometry to measure volumetric flow. This hood model is popular with contractors and facilities personnel because of its versatility, lightweight construction, and ability to document and store readings. A sturdy middle handle allows you to comfortably hold the Balometer hood with one hand. The removable digital meter can be used with optional accessory probes to measure velocity, temperature, and relative humidity.
