Sentinel^® Smart Non-Intrusive Calibration (NIC) Gas Detection Transmitter

Smart NIC has integral relays and a serial port to solve the tough remote site application criteria of many gas detection applications, including combustibles, toxics and oxygen. Smart NIC is ideal when there is a need for local alarm annunciation and/or the remote location of the gas detection transmitter.
Sentinel Smart-NIC Transmitters provide simultaneous display, alarm, and output functions. Remote two and three wire 4-20 mA transmitters requiring 24 VDC may also be powered by Smart-NIC (300 mA maximum at 24 VDC), when the sensor is remote mounted.

Configuration parameters may be entered via magnetic keypad or serial port using menu-driven prompts. The alarms can be programmed increasing, decreasing, latching or nonlatching, and normally energized or de-energized.

Keypad entry also permits non-intrusive adjustment of ZERO and SPAN, ideal in potentially hazardous locations, because it doesn't require declassification of the area.
