MVT Series Same as the VT series above but in a 1 inch thick DIN Rail mount package.
VTR Series True RMS Measuring
VT7 Series
Use for monitoring DC voltage where isolation is required. Provides instantaneous output proportional to the input. Works on AC or DC. If DC input, then DC output. If AC input, then AC output. If you plan to use the VT7 on AC, then use the peak value of the AC voltage for the voltage rating on the VT7.
VT8 Series
True RMS Measuring Used for monitoring AC voltage where the frequency range is outside that which a transformer can handle. These provide very fast transient response.
DW5 DIN RAIL mount watt transducers NEW
GW5 and AGW Series Watt Transducers These are a high accuracy, electronic watt transducer. Use where high accuracy power readings are required. Applications include utility monitoring, power control, and power monitoring over a wide dynamic range.
PC5 & PC4 Series Long a standard of excellence from Ohio Semitronics, Inc. Many of these Hall effect watt transducers have been in continuous use for twenty years or more and are still performing within their accuracy rating. The PC5 watt transducers are highly recommended for use where frequency stability is lacking, high harmonics are present, or chopped current wave shapes exist. Recommended for monitoring loads controlled by phase angle-fired SCR controllers.
PC8 Series These DC to 400 hertz watt transducers are used world wide for monitoring DC power.
Designed specifically for variable frequency applications either single phase or polyphase.
MT Series Multipliers The MT series multipliers are designed to utilize existing signals that are proportional to the actual current and voltage delivered to a load. A typical application is in systems where shunts and perhaps voltage transducers are already in place.
High accuracy combination watt and watt-hour transducer may be used for tariff purposes, control, energy management, or as a sensor in a control system. The AGH is UL Listed.
Based on our PC5 series watt transducer and VFC integrators, these watt-hour transducers provide outputs for watts and watt-hours. Applications are similar to those listed for the PC5 series watt transducers.
SWH Series Split core integrated current transformer / watt-hour transducer in the same case.
WL Series These inexpensive watt-hour transducers provide excellent accuracy. The flat pack design and low cost has made this series very popular with energy management and sub-metering companies.
High accuracy, electronic transducer used where precision is required. Applications include power factor control and reactive power monitoring over a wide dynamic range.
These are available for three phase applications only . The GV5 series described above is the preferred series. Use the VAR5 series where frequency regulation is poor or distorted wave shapes exist. Please consult factory before specifying the VAR5 transducers.
VGH Series
The PTB board level transducer with multiple outputs has become very popular. The DSP digital transducer has also been gaining in popularity. DMT Series of DIN Rail Mount Multifunction Programmable Transducers.
DSP Digital Signal Processing Transducer Highly accurate electronic transducer provides RS-422 interface that communicates value of true rms current and true rms voltage for each phase, power for each phase and total power, and frequency. Connect direct to RS-422 board in computer or use RS-422 to RS-232 adapter and go straight into COM port on PC.
PTB Board Level Transducer Series Board level transducer provides analog output signals proportional to voltage, current, power, VA, power factor and pulses for watt-hours. This is a very economical choice where multiple analog signals are required.
PC20 Series of watt, VA, Power Factor Transducers Popular PC20 series provides analog outputs proportional to power, apparent power, and power factor where power factor is determined from the ratio or power to apparent power. In this way, the power factor output is linear with power factor and not phase angle.
GWV5 Series Watt and VAR Transducer These are a high accuracy combination watt and VAR transducer. Use wherever both watt and VAR readings are required.
WVL Series Watt-hour and VAR-hour Transducer Inexpensive series of watt-hour and VAR-hour transducers provide excellent accuracy. Easy to mount board level design coupled with low cost make these popular with energy management companies.

The SG’s are in our standard metal can while the MSG’s are in a 1 inch thick DIN Rail mount plastic case.
SCE Signal Converters The SCE signal converters accept a low level DC voltage or current and convert it to a 4 to 20 mADC signal. These do not provide isolation.
LRB Precision Load Resistors Use these precision load resistors to convert a low-level analog current signal to a voltage signal.
PI Low Level Converter Converts 4 to 20 mADC to either a 0 to 1 volt or a 0 to 1 mADC signal.
