Description
Constructing a flow monitoring or controlling system is simple with the +GF+ SIGNET 515 Rotor-X Flow Sensor. Combine the 515 with a +GF+ SIGNET installation fitting and flow meter or controller, and have an operational flow monitoring system in minutes. Available in a choice of chemically resistant housing materials, the 515 stands up to many industrial processes. For processes containing pure water or acids and solvents, the PVDF version combined with a PVDF +GF+ SIGNET fitting, provides protection from possible fluid product contamination.

Installation
For maximum linearity and accuracy, the sensor should be located in a straight run of pipe upstream and downstream of the sensor. Major obstructions such as pumps or throttled valves will require longer straight runs.
| In horizontal pipe runs with no air pockets or sediment present, mount the sensor/fitting in the 12 o'clock position or 6 o'clock position. If sediment or air pockets are present, tilt the sensor/fitting at a maximum angle of 45° to overcome these obstacles. In vertical runs, upward flow is required. Full pipes are required. |  |

Description
The +GF+ SIGNET 319/515 Wet-Tap Flow Sensor serves as a unique interface between the installation fitting and the extended 515 flow sensor. It provides a fast method of removing the extended 515 sensor from the pipe under specified operating pressures. The molded PVC design of the Wet-Tap makes it resistant to corrosion and chemical attack by acids, alkalies, salt solutions, and a number of other harsh chemicals.

Description
The +GF+ SIGNET 2540 offers the added strength and corrosion resistance of stainless steel for applications with low velocity measurements. Unique internal circuitry eliminates the need for magnets in the process fluid, enabling lower flow measurement while maintaining the advantages of insertion sensor design. The 2540's unique rotor/bearing design offers low flow measuring capability with increased reliability. For remote applications, the 2517 Brass High Performance Flow Sensor is available and will operate with the 5100 Battery Operated Flow Monitor.
