other similar instruments, Scout’s battery pack is simple to release without
having to unscrew or remove components.
Fact #2 Scout’s modular pump and component assemblies will minimize
downtime. Unlike many other portable detectors, should a failure of a pump
occur, the Scout can continue to be operated and a new pump can be simply
plugged in. In fact, all Scout’s major components are modular and designed

Sensors can be replaced, or calibration performed, prior to a critical need

The AutoStep Plus combines state-of-the-art optics with paper-tape technology to permit portable detection of acutely toxic gases while virtually eliminating the need for frequent calibration.
The AutoStep Plus's push button "fast response" mode, multi-range/auto-range capability, and its auto-zero feature make the instrument fast and easy-to-use. Display, store, or print peak concentration, event and time, and TWA calculations with AutoStep Plus's real time datalogging. Store up to 2000 data points and download data via PC interface that also acts as the instruments battery charger.
For leak detection, leak sourcing, and fast surveys the AutoStep Plus 's "demand Sample Mode" permits the user to control the sampling time and the initiation of a new sample period.

Features:
The CO Sniffer Carbon Monoxide Monitor is a portable instrument
designed to detect Carbon Monoxide in ambient air and locate sources
of CO. This continuous sampling instrument quickly and accurately
measures levels of Carbon Monoxide between 0 and 2000 PPM. For CO
“sourcing” it is easily carried throughout the area to sample furnaces,
stoves, garages, fire places, etc.
By adding the Breath Analysis Module (BAM) to the CO Sniffer, it
becomes a powerful tool in determining the presence and level of
potentially deadly Carbon Monoxide in the bloodstream, also known as
carboxyhemoglobin (COHb). Since the bloodstream retains CO for
several hours after exposure, the Breath Analysis Module can help
verify the validity of a CO alarm incident.
Trained personnel can also use the Breath Analysis Module (BAM) for
onsite diagnosis of CO poisoning associated with the overhaul process,
to determine the need for immediate treatment and action. The BAM is
listed by the FDA under 510(k) notification of intent (Medical Device
Amendment, 1978), number K952694.
Detecting CO levels in the body with the BAM is fast and effective. The
BAM attaches to the top of the CO Sniffer. The user exhales into a
mouthpiece, inflating the balloon. In less than one minute , the sample
is analyzed and %COHb is determined.
The CO Sniffer with Breath Analysis Module (BAM) provides complete
first response capabilities. This combination provides an accurate and
non-invasive way to detect deceptive CO problems
The CO Sniffer will operate up to 14 hours on 4 C-size batteries. |

Features:
The Mini-SA personal monitor provides a user with dependable,
compact, lightweight, easy to use gas detection. It is designed to
meet the challenging requirements of the most abusive environments.
Housed in a rugged ABS case, the Mini-SA incorporates
the largest backlit digital display available in a single function
instrument of similar sized packages. This is extremely valuable
to an initial responder of toxic alarms who must wear protective
clothing and equipment such as a Self-Contained Breathing
Apparatus.
The Mini-SA is microprocessor based and displays real-time
readings and calculates Toxic TWA and STEL exposures. It also
incorporates a PEAK HOLD function allowing the responder to
review the highest concentration encountered after exiting to a
safe area. The Mini-SA utilizes three alarm modes: visual,
audible, and vibrating.
The Mini-SA incorporates sensors that can be changed at a
remote location – a new sensor and calibration gas is all that is
needed to reconfigure the instrument. Zeroing the instrument is

The TVL Sniffer is an ultra-sensitive combustible gas indicator designed
to detect parts per million (PPM) concentrations of most
types of flammable liquid vapors and gases. The TLV Sniffer is a key
component of arson investigation when time is of the utmost importance.
By searching the debris after a fire has been completely
extinguished, a determination of the cause of the fire can be made
when an accelerant is found among the burned remains. By sampling
suspected areas, such as liquid containers (cans, bottles, etc.),
