The Testo Saveris temperature and humiditymonitoring system is an easy to install radio and Ethernet data monitoringsystem for applications that require continuous temperature and humiditymeasurement. The Saveris systems consists of a base station, radio or Ethernetprobes, and routers/converters (if necessary) allowing for custom configurationssuitable for nearly any application.
Testo Saveris Base
The base is the heart of Testo Saveris. Capableof supporting up to 150 radio or Ethernet probes or 254 measurement channels,the base connects to a PC where the software will help users configure probesand store data for analysis. The Saveris base can save 40,000 readings permeasurement channel independent of the PC. The system data and alarm events arevisible on the display of the Saveris base. The base will issue an alarm, bymeans of an LED or optional relay output or SMS message, if any preset limitvalue is exceeded.
Testo Saveris Radio Probes
The Testo Saveris radio probes measuretemperature and humidity. During the measuring cycle, the probes save recordeddata and send it to the base unit at preset intervals. If a limit value isexceeded, a radio link is established immediately. Through bidirectionaltransmission, the radio probe and the base are in mutual contact. This ensuresthat the measurement data is only recorded by the base and is not interferedwith by other radio signals.
In open space, Testo Saveris radio probes cantransmit up to 300 meters at frequency of 868 MHz or 100 meters at 2.4 GHz. Inbuildings or other situations where signals can be impeded, the Testo Saverisradio link can be improved or lengthened by using a router (available as anaccessory).
Testo Saveris radio probes are available inversions with internal and external sensors allowing for adaptations for everyapplication. The radio probes are available with or without a display. Currentmeasurement data, the battery status and the quality of the radio link are shownon the display.
Testo Saveris Ethernet Probes
In addition radio probes, the Saveris can utilizeprobes directly connected to the Ethernet. An existing LAN infrastructure can beused for this, allowing the data transfer from the probe to the base, even overlong distances.
Testo Saveris ethernet probes contain an internalmemory as well as a display that shows the current measurement data as well asthe probe status.
Radio probes can be converted to Ethernet probesby using a converter (available as an accessory) which plugs into an Ethernetjack. This combines the flexible connection of the radio probe with the use ofan existing Ethernet system even over long transmission paths.
The Testo Saveris is available as the basestation alone or in a number of packages.
