The unique active dual-zone heating block isdesigned to ensure optimum temperature homogeneity in the calibration zone ofthe block. This design eliminates the major uncertainties due to heat lossthrough the sensor-under-test and from the top of the block. The dry-blockdesign combined with the external reference sensor input make the ATC series asaccurate as a laboratory calibrator but maintain the speed and portability of adry-block.
The ATC measures the output from the sensor-under-test directly: Thermocouples,RTD, mV, mA, and V. There is no need for multiple instruments. The JOFRA ATCseries saves time by performing automatic stand-alone calibrations. Just run thedownloaded work orders from the JOFRACAL calibration software. After completionof the work orders, the results may be downloaded into the computer foranalysis, filing, and printing of certificates.
Two models of the ATC series (ATC-140 andATC-250) fitted with a 160 mm deep well with a diameter of 63.5 mm (2.5 in) canbe used both as dry-block calibrators and as liquid calibration baths with amagnetic stirrer. This is of great relevance when calibration several sensors orwhen calibrationg liquid and odd/big size sensors.

The JOFRA ATC-125 ultra cooler features a unique free piston stirling coolertechnology for optimum performance and superior temperature homogeneitythroughout the block at very low temperatures. The JOFRA ATC-125 ultra cooler isthe worldåÕs first temperature dry-block calibrator capable of reaching-90˚C. Featuring patent-applied for Free Piston Stirring Cooler (FPSC)technology for cooling, together with a special heating element, the ATC-125offers high accuracy, excellent stability and extremely fast heating and coolingtimes.
The ATC-125 ultra cooler calibrator may be used to perform fully automaticcalibration routines without using an external computer. Trouble-free calibration of sanitary and short temperature sensors
JOFRA offers a complete, highly accurate, and portable calibration solution forcalibration of sanitary and short temperature sensors, thus avoiding cumbersomeand lengthy calibrations in liquid baths and older dry-block calibrators. Thebasic solution is a small reference sensor, which is placed in parallel with thesanitary or short sensor in the dry-block, featuring the dual-zone technology.Additionally, a sanitary kit has been designed around the ATC-156 B dry-blockcalibrator, and customized inserts and the short reference sensor havefurthermore been developed specifically for this application.
