The Gill MicroVane and 3-Cup Anemometerare traditional matched response sensors for wind measurement.
The MicroVane has a balanced aluminum vane assembly. Vane angle is sensed by aprecision conductive plastic potentiometer. The 3-Cup Anemometer is constructedwith UV resistant plastic cups. A sensitive DC generator outputs wind speed. TheVane and 3-Cup Anemometer are attached to a mounting crossarm which installs onstandard 1 inch pipe. The 3-Cup Anemometer is also available separately.
