| The PD-400 Pump Station Data Monitoring System captures information about the flow in and out of a pump station. The flow into the station is calculated by using the level and area of the wet well. The PD-400 captures and records the contact closure of a relay to mark a pump start or stop event. Upon a relayÂ’s contact closure or release, the PD-400 data monitor will record the date, time, wet well level and pump status. Wet well levels (and optional outflow) are also recorded at regular timed intervals. This data is later processed for pump runtime and flow monitoring analysis. Data can be downloaded and graphed or exported to an open data base via a CSV file. The Data Dolphin provides the accuracy of a laboratory instrument in the harsh conditions of the field environment. The ultra-high resolution 24 bit analog to digital section provides 8 single ended or 4 differential or combination of both inputs with resolution to 90 nanovolts. This allows most sensors to be directly connected without any signal conditioning. Analog and digital filtering for these 8 inputs is provided. There are an additional four inputs that can be user selected as pulse, status, event start/stop or analog inputs. |
