Wind Monitor
Model 09101
The Wind Monitor-SE combines the performance and durability of ourstandard Wind Monitor with a unique optical encoder direction transducer andserial output.
The wind speed sensor is a four blade helicoid propeller. Propeller rotationinduces a variable frequency signal in a stationary coil. The raw signal isconverted to a digital serial output by the onboard microprocessor circuit. Thewind direction sensor is a durable molded vane. The absolute encoder retainsdirection orientation even if power is interrupted. Serial output or voltageoutput signal is selected simply by moving an internal jumper. Housing parts areUV stabilized thermoplastic. Fittings are stainless steel and anodized aluminum. The instrument mounts on standard 1 inch pipe.
