The forward position of the light sensor, which was designed specifically for use in museums and art galleries, allows the user to accurately measure the direct light falling down onto a painting or any other works of art.

"ON" and "HOLD" button - Click to display reading. Hold to "freeze" display. Auto power off.
Sliding Coverplate - Provides access to 9V battery and to the switch for selecting the measuring units (fc or lux).
Calibration seal is affixed to every cal-LIGHT lightmeter after calibration to assure authenticity and prevent unauthorized alterations.
