Rotronic - the Digital M-Series

A comprehensive range of Humidity and Temperature Measuring Instruments

Rotronics' digital M-series transmitters are the latest development of combined humidity / temperature transmitters, based on HygroClip technology.

The M-Series consists of three models; each offering different features to suit application needs and with facilities reprogrammable by the customer. Output signals of 0-1V, 0-5V, 0-10V, 0-20mA or 4-20mA are available.

Differentiation between the three Series:

M1 Economical humidity and temperature transmitter with fixed probe and electronics based on digital technology

M2 Humidity and temperature transmitter with interchangeable HygroClip probes

M3 Humidity, calculated humidity (eg. dew point, enthalpy) & temperature transmitter with interchangeable HygroClip probes

M1 Series features

Measurement Accuracy

Digital processing of sensor signals by the Rotronic HygroClip probe and associated electronics provides more scope and greater flexibility when compensating sensor characteristics such as linearity and temperature coefficient.

The Rotronic Hygromer capacitive humidity sensor has always been the leader both in precision and stability. With the application of digital technology, sensor performance is now further enhanced.

Maintenance and Calibration

Unique HygroClip digital technology virtually eliminates downtime maintenance.

The HygroClip probe (M2, M3 Series) can be 'hot swapped' in seconds, during scheduled calibration, with a calibrated replacement HygroClip probe. There is no need to remove the complete transmitter to a calibration laboratory or workshop.

Calibration and sensor data are retained permanently within each HygroClip probe. Software-based calibration is simple and precise; there are no hard-to-reach, hard-to-adjust pots. Multiple calibration points can be selected across the full measurement range.
